Ring-Oblong® Spacer Insert

The Ring-Oblong® Spacer Insert is an innovative brass insert designed to simplify the assembly and alignment of plastic components. Pressed directly into a pre-moulded channel within a plastic part, the insert provides a secure mounting point while allowing controlled lateral movement for easy alignment during assembly.

As the insert is pressed into place, the moulded ridge within the plastic component compresses and allows the insert to pass through the opening. Once installed, the precision groove on the insert engages with the ridge, preventing vertical movement while enabling the insert to slide along the moulded channel. This unique design allows fast and accurate positioning of fasteners without the need for perfectly aligned drilled holes.
