The Thermal Insertion machine by SIMAF is an ideal way of inserting inserts into plastics by way of thermal technology. Simply dial in the desired heat to gently melt the material and once up to temperature set the insert into the mouth of the pre drilled hole and gently pull down on the lever letting the machine melt the material around the insert. The machine will deliver temperatures of up to 400°c so will work with materials that vary in density.
Once the insert is in place within a short time it is stronger than gluing inserts and there are no stress fractures from pressing the insert. The unit comes with one nose piece included and the inserts are available from stock.

No glue, no need for excessive PPE for ventilation of chemicals, no long difficult processes.
Supplied in the UK with a standard 3 pin plug so it will work from 230v 3.15amp. Only drawing 600w
The machine is both portable or can be fixed into place on a workbench. We can provide versions that have dual mounted heat probes or the heat probe can even be mounted upside down to move material over the machine rather than the other way shown.
